Communication from Dealerware is available in multiple languages. Set the customer's preferred language to ensure all documentation is received in their language of choice.
If your customer base speaks a variety of languages, you should consult with your legal team to determine whether your dealership's Agreement Terms should be configured in multiple languages.
Setting a Customer's Preferred Language
You can set the customer's preferred language when creating their Customer Profile, or at a later date by visiting their Account Settings. The Admin permission is required to create or modify Customer Profiles.
Set the customer's preferred language at customer profile creation
- Select Customers from the main navigation
- Select New Customer at the top-right of the page
- Input the customer's details
- Select the Preferred Language dropdown
- Select the preferred language
Set the preferred language at a later date via Account Settings
- Select Customers from the main navigation
- Search or scroll to locate and select the Customer Profile
- Select the Customer Profile
- In Customer Details > Account Settings, select the Preferred Language dropdown
- Select the preferred language
- Select Save
*Note that only languages offered by Dealerware will be available for selection.
