Overview
Vehicle status indicates the vehicle’s stage within the fleet lifecycle. A vehicle can be in any of the following statuses:
- In Preparation: The vehicle is being prepared for customer use.
- Staged: The vehicle is available for customer use.
- Hard Hold or Maintenance: The vehicle needs service and is not available for customer use.
- Shuttle: The vehicle is being used for shuttle purposes.
- Rented: The vehicle is assigned to a contract and in customer possession.
- Returned: The vehicle has been returned by the customer.
- Disposed: The vehicle has been permanently decommissioned from the fleet.
When a vehicle is in a Rented status, the vehicle status cannot be updated. After the vehicle is returned and the associated contract is complete, the status of the vehicle will automatically update from Rented to Returned.
