We understand that your customers may have concerns given Dealerware's fully digital process. Please refer these bullet points to address customer concerns, and share them with your team so they are prepared to answer any potential questions:
- Driver's License Scan: The Driver's License OCR scan captures important information from the driver's license including name, address, and driver's license number. The tool only processes the image of the license to capture relevant information and does NOT take or store a photo of the driver's license.
- Credit Card Scan: The credit card OCR scan captures just the credit card number located on the card. It does NOT take or store a photo of the credit card. This PCI-approved method of credit card input allows the information to be securely transmitted directly to Braintree, our payment processor. Braintree is Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant and handles all customer credit card storage & processing. No person(s) at the dealership, at Dealerware, or elsewhere are able to access the full credit card number.
- Insurance Picture: The insurance tool captures a picture of your insurance card information. This picture is not stored locally on any device and is transmitted directly to the customer's profile in the Dealerware database.
