A contract has all of the information about the customer, insurance, and assigned vehicle. The information that can be changed on a contract depends on the contract status.
To modify information on a booked contract:
In a booked contract you can modify the service advisor, repair order, service vehicle ID, and insurance information.
- Search and select the relevant contract
- Select the Details tab to modify the service advisor, repair order, or service vehicle ID
- Select Save
- Select the Insurance tab to edit the customer insurance
- Select Edit to update information
- Select Save
To update information on a started contract:
In a started contract the only thing you can update is the scheduled dropoff time and the service advisor.
- Search and select the relevant contract
- Select the Details tab to edit the service advisor
- Select Save
- Select the Details tab > Modify Contract to update the scheduled dropoff time
- Edit the scheduled dropoff time
- Select Modify
To update information on a finished contract:
In a finished contract the only thing you can update is the service advisor.
- Search and select the relevant contract
- Select the Details tab to edit the service advisor
- Select Save
