Overview
A Driver Agreement is a document developed by your OEM, group, or legal team, which contains legal terms and conditions.
Every vehicle in your fleet is associated with a Driver Agreement, which your customer must agree to during the start-contract workflow before their contract can be started.
Customer, vehicle, and contract data will auto-populate on Program Driver Agreements after starting and finishing a contract. However, this data will not auto-populate on Custom Driver Agreements.
Additionally, the Driver Agreement is sent to your customer via text message when their contract is started and finished.
Types of Driver Agreements
The Multi-Agreements feature lets you optimize one of each agreement type listed below:
- Custom Agreement: This agreement type contains terms set by your dealership and should be developed by your dealership’s legal team. Custom Agreements can be uploaded and managed in Dealerware by your dealership’s Admin.
- Program Agreement: This agreement type contains terms specific to an OEM program and should be developed and provided to Dealerware by your OEM. Program Agreements cannot be uploaded or modified in Dealerware.
