Overview
You can easily update the status of a vehicle in Vehicle Details. When you're ready to remove a vehicle from your fleet, update its status to Disposed.
To update the status of a vehicle, you must have the Dispose Vehicle permission enabled.
Remove a Vehicle
- Physically remove the Connected Car Device (if applicable)
- Physically remove the toll transponder or tag (if applicable)
- Login to my.dealerware.com
- Locate and select the applicable vehicle
- In Vehicle Details, locate the Toll Barcode field and delete the toll barcode
- Select the Status tab
- In Status, select the Select New Vehicle Status drop down
- Select the Dispose status
*Dispose is the last option in the dropdown menu, therefore you may need to scroll through the list to locate it.
Locate a Disposed Vehicle
- Login to my.dealerware.com
- Select Vehicles from the main menu
- Select the Vehicle State filter at the top right of the page
- Filter by Disposed
- Locate the applicable vehicle
