Overview
Agreement Terms are legal statements that are supplemental to those outlined in the Driver Agreement. Each Driver Agreement is combined with a set of Agreement Terms.
The Agreement Terms are then displayed to customers during the start-contract workflow, and they must agree to them before starting a contract.
Types of Driver Agreements
Based on OEM requirements, your location may leverage one or both of the following Driver Agreement types below. Both Driver Agreement types should be combined with Agreement Terms.
- Custom Agreement: This agreement type contains terms set by your dealership and should be developed by your dealership’s legal team. Custom Agreements can be uploaded and managed in Dealerware by your dealership’s Admin.
- Program Agreement: This agreement type contains terms specific to an OEM program and should be developed and provided to Dealerware by your OEM. Program Agreements cannot be uploaded or modified in Dealerware.
Add, modify, or delete Agreement Terms
Agreement Terms are initially created with your Implementation Specialist during Dealerware onboarding, however, they can be managed at any time by those with the Admin permission.
