Utilization calculations can be found in the Command Center Metrics section and in the Vehicle Utilization report. Only employees with "View Reports" employee permissions can access Dealerware Reports.
Vehicle Utilization Report
The Vehicle Utilization report displays VIN-level utilization. The report defaults to the current month, but you can use the date range filter located in the top left to see any time period desired. Learn how to download the report here.
Available fields include the following:
- VIN
- License Plate
- Stock Number
- Model Year
- Model
- Available Days: Count of days per month the vehicle is in a bookable state
- Bookable Utilization: Utilized Days divided by the number of days vehicles are able to be booked based on vehicle status, multiplied by 100. Excluded vehicle statuses are disposed, hard hold, shuttle, and maintenance.
- Contract Utilization: Contract Days divided by the number of days vehicles are able to be booked based on vehicle status, multiplied by 100. Excluded vehicle statuses are disposed, hard hold, shuttle, and maintenance.
- Contract Days: Count of days vehicles are on contract for 30+ minutes. If there's more than one contract for a vehicle in the same day, each contract counts as a distinct day.
- Closed Contracts: Count of contracts associated with the VIN that are in a finished status
- Utilized Days: Count of days in which a vehicle is on contract
All calculations are for the selected time period.
Command Center Metrics
The Metrics section of the Command Center displays three utilization calculations. Metrics calculate for all Programs month-to-date by default. You can filter to see Program-specific and historic utilization.
- Contract Utilization: Contract Days divided by the number of days vehicles are able to be booked based on vehicle status, multiplied by 100. Excluded vehicle statuses are disposed, hard hold, shuttle, and maintenance.
- Standard Utilization: Utilized Days divided the number of days all vehicles are active, regardless of whether vehicles are in a bookable status, multiplied by 100.
- Bookable Utilization: Utilized Days divided by the number of days vehicles are able to be booked based on vehicle status, multiplied by 100. Excluded vehicle statuses are disposed, hard hold, shuttle, and maintenance.
