Overview
Mobile Check-in improves dealership efficiency and CSI scores by allowing customers to self-credential and save driver's license, insurance, and credit card details from their personal devices before their appointments.
Enable Mobile Check-in
- Update your Dealerware iOS or Android app to the latest version
Notes Before Getting Started:
- Each profile has a unique token ID, to ensure duplicate profiles aren't being created each time the feature is used.
- The link sent to the customer will expires after 24 hours. In these cases, the customer should contact the dealership to request a new link.
Use Mobile Check-in via Dealerware Web
The Mobile Check-in workflow in the Dealerware web app makes it easy to create a new customer profile or update an existing one.
Create a New Profile
- First, confirm a profile does not already exist by using the search function
- If a profile does not exist, select New Customer at the top-right of the page to create one
- Enter the customer's name & phone number
- Select Add Customer
- Select View New Customer Profile from the pop-up
- In Customer Details: Overview, scroll to the bottom of the page
- Select Send Profile Link
Update an Existing Customer Profile
- First, search for the customer's profile
- Navigate to the Report Profile Link column
- Select the Send button
- The customer will receive a text message from Dealerware containing a link to access the Mobile Check-in workflow from their personal device.

Use Mobile Check-in via Dealerware Mobile
Create a New Customer Profile
- Log in to Dealerware Mobile
- Select Customers from the main menu
- Select the + icon
- Select Send Check-in Link
Update an Existing Customer Profile
- Select Customers from the main menu
- Enter the customer's details into the search bar & select the profile
- In the customer profile, select Send Check-in Link
- When the confirmation pop-up appears, select Send
- The customer will receive a text message from Dealerware containing a link to access the Mobile Check-in workflow.

Dealership Customer Workflow

Once the customer opens the link sent from Dealerware, they will enter into the Mobile Check-in workflow from their personal device.

The customer will proceed through the workflow.
- A pop-up indicating success will appear after the customer completes the workflow.
