Overview
Mobile Check-in improves dealership efficiency and CSI scores by allowing customers to self-credential and save driver's license, insurance, and credit card details from their personal devices before their appointments.
Now, you can automatically send customers a text message to complete their profile when an appointment is created in Dealerware (either manually, or through one of our scheduler integrations).
The link sent to the customer will expires after 24 hours. In these cases, the customer should contact the dealership to request a new link.
Enable Automated Mobile Check-in
- As an Admin, log in to Dealerware Web
- Navigate to Settings -> Location -> Preferences
- Select "Automatic Mobile Check In"
- Save
The Customer Experience
- The customer will receive a text message from Dealerware containing a link to access the Mobile Check-in workflow from their personal device.
- Once the customer opens the link sent from Dealerware, they will enter into the Mobile Check-in workflow from their personal device.

The customer will proceed through the workflow.
- A pop-up indicating success will appear after the customer completes the workflow.

- Reinforce this process with your Customers and your Staff.
- Make Customers aware they will receive a text message and encourage them to complete their profile prior to their appointment. You can include this step in appointment confirmations and other service appointment communications.
