Dealerware offers a variety of permissions so you can align responsibilities appropriately for each employee.
If you aren't sure which to assign, feel free to use our recommended settings:

Concierges & Porters | No added permissions |
Cashiers | -Add additional charges and refund customers -Add a customer to the do not "Do Not Rent" list* |
Finance / Accounting / Controller | -Add additional charges and refund customers |
Note: Only Dealership admins have the ability to adjust employee roles.
*Based on service manager discretion. By enabling this for a Cashier, they are able to restrict new contracts from being made for customers with outstanding balances.
