Overview
Dealerware Web Location Settings includes dealership-specific settings to help you optimize your daily fleet operations. To access Settings > Location from the main menu, the Admin permission is required.
Location Settings is split into 4 tabs:
- General
- Hours of Operation
- Preferences - Mandate Repair Order, Capture Manual Signature, Charge Later, Require Driver Agreement, Automate Mobile Check-In, Confirm Contract Modification, Enable Valet Tasks
- Alerts and Notifications - Contract Alerts, Vehicle Alerts

General Tab
The following settings are available in the General tab:
Contact Information
- Dealership Name
- Dealership Email
- Dealership Phone Number
Dealership Location
- Address
- Dashboard Fleet Map Configuration: Click & drag to set your dealership location on the Fleet Map
*Address details are displayed on the customer's Driver Agreement and Dealerware receipts.

Preferences Tab
The following settings are available in the Preferences tab:
Contract
- Repair Order: When enabled, a Repair Order number is required on select contracts prior to contract completion.
- Manual Signature: When enabled, Dealerware users can skip collecting a digital signature when starting a contract, and instead print the contract to obtain a signature as needed. This setting is disabled by default.
- Charge Later: When enabled, Dealerware users can postpone charging the customer during the finish-contract workflow on the Dealerware mobile app. This setting is enabled by default.
- Driver Agreement Required: When enabled, the customer is required to review and acknowledge the Driver Agreement before signing their contract.
Calendar
- Contract Modification Confirmation: When enabled, a pop-up will appear when modifying an event on the Calendar which may impact rates.
Valet
- Enable Valet Task: When enabled, this setting allows employees to execute valet tasks in the Dealerware Web and Mobile
Alerts and Notifications Tab
The following settings are available in the Alerts and Notifications tab, by Program:
Contract Notifications

Contract Length: Create a day limit for each new contract. This limit will not prevent contracts from remaining open past this cap.

Contract Length Warning: Specify when to receive a dashboard notification.
Vehicle Notifications

Defleet Limit: Create an odometer and/or day limit for all vehicle models.

Defleet Limit by Model: Create an odometer and/or day limit for each vehicle model.

Defleet Limit Warning: Specify when to receive a notification on the Command Center.
Command Center – Alerts and Notifications
Contract Limit Warning: When enabled, an alert will trigger on the Command Center – Contracts Card when any contracts assigned to that Program have reached their contract-days limit. Select the notification to redirect to the Contracts tab to manage the impacted contracts.
- Defleet Limit Warning: When enabled, an alert will trigger on the Command Center – Vehicles Card when any vehicles assigned to that Program have reached their mileage or days-in-fleet limit. Select the notification to redirect to the Vehicles tab to manage the impacted vehicles.
