Insights Builder lets you create the reports you need from your Dealerware data, choose exactly the columns you need, and download results without relying on pre-built reports.
Who can use Insights Builder
It’s available to Dealerware users — access level matches the account you’re logged in with.
How to access Insights Builder
Open the Dealerware Insights menu and select Insights Builder.
Build a custom report
- Select a data model: Contracts, Fleet, or Utilization.
- In the left-hand menu drawer, check the boxes next to the Measures, Attributes, or Dates you want to include.
- Measures are numerical values: totals, averages, and counts.
- Attributes are descriptive fields you use to group or filter those values.
- Select Go in the top right to run the report.
Note: Column selection is limited to fields that exist across Dealerware’s standard pre-built reports. You can’t combine fields across data models in a single report.
Download a report
- After running your report, select the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
- Select Download Answer.
- Pick a format: PDF, CSV, or XLS.
Note: Downloads reflect data at the time of export.
