A Connected Car Device (CCD) harness can be ordered and installed in order to prevent the removal of the device from a vehicle. To place an order for CCD harnesses,<a href="https://support.dealerware.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022445833" target="_blank"> follow these steps</a>. Once received, follow the instructions below to install the harness on a vehicle.

Install CCD Harness Connect each component of the harness to the relevant location on the vehicle and Connected Car Device

- A: connect to the Connected Car Device.
- B: connect to the vehicle's ODBII (this requires the original OBDII is removed from its port).
- C: replace where the original ODBII connector was previous located (snaps into the port). This component could be black/purple or other white

1. Add vehicle to My.Dealerware.com
2. Install CCD Harness Connect each component of the harness to the relevant location on the vehicle and Connected Car Device
