Overview
Dealerware makes it easy to add a Repair Order number to a contract during the booking workflow or prior to finishing a contract.
Add a Repair Order Number During the Booking Workflow
- Start by creating a reservation (select Customers from the main menu > select the customer profile or create a new customer profile > select Create Contract at the bottom of Customer Details)
- In New Reservation, input the Repair Order number in the Additional Information section
- Select Save Reservation
Add a Repair Order Number to a Booked or Started Contract
- Locate & select the booked or started contract from the Contracts tab
- In Contract Details: Overview, navigate to the Scheduling & Service Information section
- Select Edit
- In Modify Contract: Service, input the Repair Order number
- Select Save Changes
Require a Repair Order Number to Complete a Contract
Enable the Repair Order (RO) Required setting to require a Repair Order reference number on select contracts prior to contract completion.
- Enable the Repair Order (RO) Required setting
*If you attempt to complete a contract associated with a Vehicle Group where the RO Required setting is enabled, Dealerware will disallow you from completing the contract.
In this case, add the repair order number, then reattempt to complete the contract.
- In Contract Details: Overview, navigate to the Scheduling & Service Information section
- Select Edit
- In Modify Contract: Service, input the Repair Order number
- Select Save Changes
