Dealerware now integrates with your Xtime to provide greater insight into true capacity of vehicle availability by automating the creation of contracts, documentation, and records for Loaner and Rental customers. To activate, please take the following steps:
Submit Activation Request in Dealerware
- Login to Dealerware
- Select Place Order from the main menu
- Select Activate Scheduler Integration
- Select Xtime
- Select Place Order
- Check your email for a step-by-step activation guide
Configure in Xtime:
- Open Xtime in your browser. From the dashboard, use the dropdown menu in the top left corner under the dealership’s name. Select the option for CONFIGURE. If the configure option does not appear in that menu, you must first receive admin permissions for Xtime.
- Select the Resources tab in the top menu.
- Select Transportation on the left-hand menu.
- Ensure that the ON/OFF toggle beside Dealer Portal and/or Consumer Scheduler are switched on for the LOANER and/or RENTAL section. This allows rental and loaner appointments to be scheduled by the staff or customers using the scheduler on your website.
- Your location will have a unique email address assigned to collect all appointment details and generate them in Dealerware. Please locate your location ID by logging into Dealerware Web. Select Vehicles in the left hand menu and then view the number in the URL bar which comes after my.dealerware.com/#/
Your assigned email address is: LC[LocationID]@em4168.dealerware.com; Replace [LocationID] with the number obtained from the URL bar.
There is a second address which needs to be added to enable internal support: fleet-schedules@dealerware.com. These addresses must be included in the Loaner Email and Rental Email fields dependent on which services you currently offer. If you would like for confirmation emails to be sent to others (SA, GM, etc.), additional addresses may be placed in each field.
Combining the two emails above, the value for Loaner Email or Rental Email field would be:
LC[LocationID]@em4168.dealerware.com, fleet-schedules@dealerware.com
(please note the comma separation for multiple email address)
