Overview
Vehicle Condition documents damage on an individual vehicle. Entries on vehicle condition can be added or resolved at any time. We advise dealers to perform a vehicle walk around with the customer during the Start-Contract and Finish-Contract workflows to document any vehicle damage.
Add Vehicle Condition
Dealerware Web
- Select Vehicles from the main navigation
- Search for and select the applicable vehicle
- In the Vehicle Condition section, select the Add button
- Enter a detailed description of the vehicle's condition
- Select Save Changes
Dealerware Mobile
- Select Vehicles from the bottom navigation
- Search for and select the applicable vehicle
- Proceed to the Vehicle Details page. If the vehicle is Rented, you will need to select Manage Vehicle to reach Vehicle Details
- If it's the first Vehicle Condition entry, select Add Vehicle Condition. If there are existing Vehicle Condition entries, select Vehicle Condition and then Add Vehicle Condition
- Enter a detailed description of the vehicle's condition
- Select Add Image to attach photos from your photo library or take pictures with your device's camera
- Select Save
Resolve Vehicle Condition
Dealerware Web
- Select Vehicles from the main navigation
- Search for and select the applicable vehicle
- Expand the Vehicle Condition section
- Select the Vehicle Condition you wish to resolve
- Enter a description of the resolution
- Select Resolve Issue
Dealerware Mobile
- Select Vehicles from the bottom navigation
- Search for and select the applicable vehicle
- Proceed to the Vehicle Details page. If the vehicle is Rented, you will need to select Manage Vehicle to reach Vehicle Details
- Select Vehicle Condition and locate the entry you wish to resolve
- Select Mark Resolved
