An unsettled balance is a result of the following:
- Use of the "Charge Later" function on Dealerware mobile
- A declined credit card transaction
- Manual charge added to the contract invoice without settlement
For a full list of unsettled balances, refer to the Customers page in Dealerware Web, and click the unsettled balances toggle.
We recommend your dealership review and settle unsettled balances on a daily basis. Unsettled balances are not considered recovered costs and therefore will not be reimbursed to the dealership until the balance is successfully settled. Instructions on settling balances can be found here.
