"The adjustment will be applied in 48 hours."
This message typically occurs when an invoice has been recently edited and a previous transaction is still settling on the customer's credit card. Before another charge or credit can be processed, the previous transaction needs to finish settling.
Therefore, Dealerware will wait 48 hours for the previous transaction to settle and then automatically process the new charge or credit.
