Overview
Valet transforms the customer experience, driving high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and utilization rates by delivering vehicles directly from your dealership to the customer’s doorstep. Dealerware’s valet feature lets you create and carry out vehicle pickup and drop-off tasks.
Carry out a Service Pickup Task and Complete the Start-Contract Workflow
- Log in to Dealerware Mobile
- In Schedule, select the Contracts tab
- Locate the customer’s contract
- Confirm a vehicle is assigned, if not then assign one
- In Schedule, select the Tasks tab
- Locate & select the Service Pickup task for the customer, which will appear in the Tasks tab on the contract’s scheduled pickup date
- In Task Details, confirm or edit the fuel & odometer readings
- Confirm or edit the Destination Address
- Assign a Driver if one is not already assigned
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen & select I’m on the Way to send a text message to the customer to inform them that the driver is leaving the dealership
- Select Leave Dealership to start the task
- After starting the task, select the Valet Address to navigate in your device’s native map app
- Drive to the valet address
- Select I’m Here to send a text message to the customer to inform them that the driver has arrived
- Once at the valet address, select Start Contract to begin the start-contract workflow
- Follow the start-contract prompts & capture the customer’s signature
- Once a signature is captured & the contract is started, observe that the Service Pickup task is automatically finished
Notes:
- A task will only appear in the Tasks tab on its contract’s scheduled pickup date
- If a vehicle was not assigned to the contract that corresponds to the task, you must assign one before starting the task
- If a driver was not assigned during task creation, you must assign one before starting the task
Carry out a Service Drop-off Task and Complete the Finish-Contract Workflow:
- Log in to Dealerware Mobile
- In Schedule, select the Tasks tab
- Locate and select the Service Drop-off task for the customer, which will appear in the Tasks tab on the contract’s scheduled drop-off date
- In Task Details, confirm or edit the Destination Address
- Assign a Driver if one is not already assigned
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen & select I’m on the Way to send a text message to the customer to inform them that the driver is leaving the dealership
- Select Leave Dealership to begin the task
- Select the Valet Address to open your device’s map app
- Drive to the destination address & pick up the loaner vehicle
- Select I’m Here to send a text message to the customer to inform them that the driver has arrived
- Once at the destination address, select Finish Contract to begin the finish-contract workflow
- In Reservation Overview, select Begin Vehicle Return & follow the prompts
- Select Finish Contract & manage contract billing (if applicable)
- Once you have arrived at the dealership begin the finish-task workflow by inputting fuel & odometer readings In Task Details
- Select Arrived at Dealership
- Confirm by selecting Finish
- Observe that the Service Drop-off task is automatically finished
Notes:
- If a driver was not assigned during task creation, you must assign one before starting the task
- Note that if an Repair Order # is required, you will need to enter it before completing the contract
