You will need the Dispose Vehicles permission to complete this task. Learn how to update Employee permissions here.
Before You Start
- Physically remove the connected car device (if applicable)
- Physically remove the toll transponder or tag (if applicable)
- Connected Car devices and toll transponders can be reused and interchanged between vehicles. Sticker tags should be removed and discarded
- If you need to order additional hardware or return excess hardware, contact support@dealerware.com
Steps to Remove a Vehicle
- Click the Vehicles page in the left navigation bar
- Locate a vehicle using the search bar, or by clicking the Stock or the License Plate highlighted in blue
- If applicable, locate the Toll Barcode field in the Vehicle Details drawer and delete the toll barcode
- In the Status drop down menu, select Disposed
- Select Save
Locating a Disposed Vehicle
- You can still locate a disposed vehicle by searching for it in the search bar, or click the Disposed button above the Stock Number column. This will show you all disposed vehicles.
