Overview
Each vehicle added to Dealerware will generate a QR code. QR codes can be found and printed in the Vehicle Details section of Dealerware Web.
To utilize the QR code, print out the QR code from Dealerware Web and attach it to the vehicle windshield using a border sticker. The Dealerware QR code dimensions are calculated to match the suggested product's dimensions: 3"x4". Simply remove the center label and replace it with the Dealerware QR Code. Another option is to attach the QR code to the associated vehicles key ring.
NOTE: You must be logged into Dealerware Mobile to use the QR code scanner located in the Vehicles tab next to the search bar. The QR code will not scan the vehicle if the mobile device is in the Camera application.
Use Vehicle QR Codes to:
Start a contract in Dealerware Mobile.
Progress through the start contract workflow, then select Next: Vehicles
Scan the QR codes during the start contract workflow to assign a vehicle.
Select Scan Vehicle QR Code
Scan the vehicle QR code
Enter the starting fuel and odometer values (if you're utilizing Dealerware Connected Car Services, fuel and odometer values will update automatically)
Select Save
Finish a contract in Dealerware Mobile
Scan the QR codes during the finish contract workflow to retrieve the vehicle information:
Select Vehicles from the main navigation
Select Scan Vehicle QR Code
Scan the vehicle QR Code
Select Finish Contract

Select Vehicles from the main navigation
Select Tap the QR code icon
Scan the vehicle QR Code
Select Vehicle Status to update the vehicle status OR tap Vehicle Issues to manage vehicle issues
