Overview
Dealerware offers a variety of alerts to de-risk your fleets, manage contracts, and maintain utilization. When automated alerts occur, they appear on the Command Center. Learn about the alerts and how to configure them below.
- Defleet Limit Warning: Stay compliant on OEM guidelines by setting mileage or time-in-fleet caps on vehicles.
- Contract Limit Warning: Ensure that contracts do not exceed a specified timeframe and be notified when that timeline approaches.
- Overdue (Contract): Be notified when contracts exceed their scheduled completion dates.
- Expired Registration: Learn when vehicles exceed their registration expiration dates.
- OEM Recall: Stay informed when vehicles are enrolled in an active recall campaign, and learn when those campaigns are automatically resolved.
Configure Alerts
All alerts are configured in the Dealerware web application.
Contract Limit Warning
- Select Settings > Location from the main menu
- Select the Alerts & Notifications tab
- In Contract Notifications, select the program then add the Contract Length and the Warning threshold
Defleet Limit Warning
- Select Settings > Location from the main menu
- Select the Alerts & Notifications tab
- In Vehicle Notifications, select the program then add the Defleet Limit and the Warning threshold
Overdue (Contract)
- Overdue alerts populate based on Contract Drop-off Time
- When a contract duration exceeds this drop-off time, an alert auto-populates on the Command Center.
- Simply finish the contract or update the drop-off date as needed, to resolve the alert.
Registration Expired
- Registration Expired alerts populate based on date listed in the vehicle's Details page
- When a vehicle's registration date has passed, an alert auto-populates on the Command Center.
- Simply update the date or dispose the vehicle to resolve the alert.
OEM Recall
- OEM Recall alerts populate based on an open OEM recall campaign, where data is sourced by the OEM.
- When an OEM recall is resolved by the OEM, the alert will resolve itself.
View Alerts
You can easily view all alerts from the Command Center, in the Dealerware web application.
- Select the Bell Icon from anywhere within the web application to open an Alerts Drawer.
- Select the alerts from the Command Center to open an Alerts Drawer.
- View open alerts, or select the Resolved toggle to view those that are closed.
