The Open Contracts report is a tab on the Contracts Report page. It allows dealers to see contracts in a started status. The report is sorted in descending order by Days on Contract so that contracts that have been open the longest are at the top of the list.
There is approximately a 3-hour data sync delay for data to populate on reports. Therefore, the Open Contracts report is most useful for seeing contracts that were started prior to the current day and are still open. For a real-time snapshot of Open Contracts, navigate to the Contracts page, then filter for Started contracts.
Only employees with "View Reports" employee permissions can access Dealerware Reports.
The report can be filtered by Repair Order Number, Customer Name, Service Advisor, Contract ID Number, VIN and Program.
The top section displays Key Performance Indicators, including:
- Number of Open Contracts
- Number of Overdue Contracts: defined by contracts that are still active past their scheduled drop-off date
- Percent of Contracts Under 3 Days
- Percent of Contracts Under 7 Days
- Percent of Contracts Under 15 Days
- Percent of Contracts Over 30 Days
Following the KPIs, there are graphs and data visualizations including:
- Number of Open Contracts by Service Advisor: helps you understand if the workload across your service advisors is balanced which advisors are managing longer-duration contracts
- Number of Open Contracts by Program
