Overview
The Lexus Reserve Program awards guests with 30 complimentary reserve days with the purchase/lease of a Lexus RZ 450e EV. Lexus guests can reserve these days directly through the Lexus App.
RZ guests are able to use these 30 reserve days to rent a Lexus vehicle from participating Lexus dealerships over the course of 3 years from the date of purchase/lease of their new Lexus RZ.
Dealerware’s integration with the Lexus App makes it easy for guests to book reservations via the app, and reserve vehicles by category from their personal devices, unlocking reserve days at the dealership and fleet management optimization.
After creating Program in Dealerware, the Lexus App integration leverages Dealerware's Multi-Agreements feature to ensure that the correct Driver Agreement is assigned to program vehicles.

I’m an existing Dealerware customer, how do I enable the Dealerware/Lexus App integration?

Conduct Lexus App training with your Lexus representative

After training, create a Program in Dealerware and title it "OneApp Rental"
- Add all vehicles you would like to be available on the Lexus app for Lexus Reserve booking to the "OneApp Rental" Program in Dealerware (LCCS vehicles can be assigned to the "OneApp Rental" program along with any other courtesy programs in place).

Enable the Daily Rate by Vehicle Model setting within the "OneApp Rental" Program in Dealerware, and apply a $0 daily rate for each vehicle
I’m a new Dealerware customer, how do I enable the Dealerware/Lexus App integration?
- Conduct Lexus App training with your Lexus representative (contact your Lexus contact center to sign up)
- Inform your Dealerware Implementation specialist that you wish to enable the Dealerware/Lexus App integration and they will guide you through the process
Understanding the Lexus App and Dealerware Workflows
Lexus App and the Lexus Guest
By enabling the Dealerware/Lexus App integration, you can expect the following Lexus guest workflow:
- Using the Lexus app, the Lexus guest books their reservation by entering their full name and email address, adding pickup and drop-off date and time, and specifying the Vehicle Category
- After booking, the guest receives an email from Lexus containing a Reservation ID
Dealerware and the Lexus Customer
The Lexus App integration will not change the standard Dealerware user workflow. After enabling the integration, the Dealerware user workflow is as follows:
Prepare Reservations Prior to Customer Arrival
- Locate reservations that are booked via the Lexus App in Dealerware
- Assign vehicles to the reservations
Start a Reservation upon Customer Arrival
- On the scheduled pickup date, the guest arrives at the dealership and provides the dealership staff with their name and Reservation ID.
- The dealership staff locates the guest's profile in Dealerware and adds their Driver’s License, payment method, and insurance info if not already saved. Learn how in Dealerware Web & Mobile.
- The dealership staff locates the guest's reservation and assigns a vehicle if one is not already assigned, taking note of the Booked Vehicle indicator, and choosing the preferred or similar model selected by the guest. Learn how in Dealerware Web & Mobile.
- The dealership staff finalizes the contract by obtaining a signature from the customer. Learn how in Dealerware Web & Mobile.
- The guest receives a text message containing their signed Driver Agreement.
Finish a Reservation
- On the scheduled drop-off date, the guest returns their vehicle. The dealership staff processes any charges and finishes the contract. Learn how in Dealerware Web & Mobile.
- The guest receives a text message containing their agreement and a receipt, and a “Thank You” email from Lexus.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I avoid creating a duplicate reservation for a guest who walks into my dealership and already has a reservation booked via the Lexus App?
The Dealerware platform cannot prevent a duplicate reservation, however, the guest will likely arrive at the dealership and let the dealership employee know that they already have a reservation.
For this reason, the dealership employee should always ask the customer if they have a current reservation in place.
What happens if a Lexus guest has visited the dealership in the past and already has a Customer Profile, but uses the Lexus App to book a reservation?
The Lexus App will recognize the customer’s Dealerware profile and match the credentials to avoid creating a duplicate profile.
Will the Lexus guest be able to add their driver’s license, credit card, and insurance via the Lexus app?
The Lexus guest will have the option to enter their information in the Lexus App, which will then port the information into Dealerware. If the guest bypasses entering this information in the Lexus App, it can be added to their Dealerware profile during the contract workflow.
What happens if a Lexus guest books a reservation via the Lexus App for a specific vehicle category, but then requests a new vehicle category after arriving at the dealership?
As long as the customer’s preferred vehicle belongs to the "OneApp Rental" Program in Dealerware, the vehicle can be added to their contract.
